Raising funds for FLAG DOWN 2014

We are raising funds to host a conference in Clearwater, Florida to expose the human rights abuses and fraud of the Scientology cult on their home turf.

• This is a joint enterprise between Clearwater critics and many others.
• The funds are needed to enable this to happen in the ‘home’ of the cult.

What We Need & What You Get

• We are trying to raise $25,000 in total to pay for transport, venue, accommodation, technical and promotional items.
• Contributors will be rewarded with buttons, t-shirts, flags, books, and other memorabilia.
• We are proposing 5 consecutive days of conferences followed by a weekend of protests.
• The entire event will be live streamed and made available on video for eternity.
• A presspack will be produced and made available to attendees.
• If we don’t make our target, funds will either be returned or retained as we reset our goals.

Impact

Hosting an event of this size has never been done in Clearwater before. The fact that the cult consider it their mecca, despite the majority of citizens being somewhat less than tolerant of them, makes it the ideal location for this event.
